Recalling Childhood

Mar 13, 2012 by     4 Comments    Posted under: Opinions

The article that took me hours and hours to come up with because of all the fun, love and learning of childhood. We don’t think about the life of children philosophically. If we do that, we will get energized with every step.

If we go through a child’s life philosophically, then we will get to know that from the day children open their eyes, they keep on making us learn many lessons. However, unfortunately, they remain un-noticed. They give us the message of love, happiness, fearlessness, peace, the thirst for a thing they have just seen and to demand it again and again, passing smiles, and sharing love with a stranger while being care-free of what the world will think – only by their acts, not even by their words.

Kids don’t fight, nor do they take revenge. Instead, they ignore everything with their positive attitude. There is hope in every act of theirs, but the so-called mature people don’t even bother to think over such things because we live a moderate, busy, and a non-social life which stops everyone from having fun, from smiling and enjoying little moments of happiness. Why can’t we live a life full of colors and happiness just as children do?

Childhood is the best time of one’s life – when you live fully and fearlessly, when you smile ignoring the fact the person with whom you are sharing your smile is a black man or a white man, when you can be childish and win everyone’s heart instead of being moderate with everyone, when your innocence is the best part of your character. Why do we lose our innocence as we grow up? Why do we become fearful? Why do we live moderately? Why don’t we be childish sometimes? Why do we become selfish with a big ego? Why do we take revenge from people? I hope you will agree with my point of view.

So, to live the best life and to make everyone around us happy, we should learn from children. We should adopt their positive attitude, because they are the real teachers, real trainers and real leaders of life.

desperately want the answers to these….

    • Because we grow up. That child in us just gets lost somewhere deep inside.

      • And then we think that we are being mature, which is totally wrong :)

    • We have set our own perspective that whenever change will come in us, we will call it “Matureness” instead we should call it “Responsibility” because as we grow up we (mostly all of us) start taking responsibility BUT when we name it “Matureness” we start acting differently unlike childish AND OFF COURSE responsibility and childish behaviour are two great things :)
